The final phase of a project often involves high workload, parallel activities, and limited decision windows. At the same time, systems must be verified, adjusted, and handed over to the line organisation.
My support within commissioning and handover focuses on contributing structure, clarity, and coordination during this phase. The intention is to create the conditions for a controlled transition toward stable operations – without taking formal responsibility for delivery or outcomes.
When this support is relevant
- For complex start-ups involving multiple systems or suppliers
- When testing and verification require additional structure
- When responsibilities and interfaces in the final phase are unclear
- When operations handover requires additional coordination
- When previous projects have had challenging start-up phases
What the support may include
The scope of the support is adapted to the needs of the project and may cover all or parts of the final phase. The work aims to provide structure and overview – not to replace existing roles or responsibilities. The objective is to enable focused execution in the final phase and reduce the risk of ad hoc decisions under time pressure.
- Structuring of FAT, SAT, and acceptance testing

Way of working
The work is carried out in close collaboration with key project and operations roles and is adapted to existing ways of working. The focus is on communication, coordination, and technical understanding – not on driving parallel processes.
Engagement model
The assignment is structured as a time-limited engagement, adapted to the organization’s needs and current situation.
Scope, focus, and time horizon are defined jointly and may be adjusted as the understanding of the assignment develops.
